Job summary

BSI Aerospace invites an experienced Auditor to join our Global team on the South Coast, with Portsmouth as preferred location. You will audit client systems against ISO/EN standards and lead assessment teams when required, delivering valuable findings and recommendations.

The role requires at least 4 years in aerospace/defence auditing, fluent English, and willingness to travel across the UK. You’ll work to high professional standards and build lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years aerospace/space/defence auditing experience within the last 10 years.
• Proven management system auditing experience.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Assess client systems against BSI, ISO, and AS/EN requirements with value delivery.
• Prepare accurate assessment reports and clearly communicate findings and corrective actions.
• Recommend certification decisions (issue, re-issue, suspension, withdrawal) per policy.
• Plan, conduct, and deliver audits maintaining high standards.
• Provide meaningful client feedback with strong commercial understanding.
• Maintain professional, engaging approach in all assessments.
• Lead audit teams when required and ensure collaboration.
• Build relationships supporting long-term client satisfaction.
• Provide timely information to internal teams and maintain client records.
