Qualifications

• Proven experience as an NC Programmer in the aerospace or precision engineering sector.
• Proficiency in Hypermill and CATIA for CAM and CAD tasks.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, aerospace materials, and machining best practices.
• Experience with 5-axis machining and high-precision components.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards and aerospace documentation requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize 5-axis CNC programs using Hypermill and CATIA.
• Interpret complex aerospace drawings and 3D models to develop machining strategies.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Select appropriate tooling and cutting strategies to maximize efficiency.
• Conduct simulations and verifications to ensure optimal cycle times.
• Support first article inspections and resolve programming issues.
• Continuously improve machining processes to enhance quality.
• Maintain documentation and revision control of NC programs.
