The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical, automotive, or aeronautical engineering and proficiency in 3D CAD. The role includes collaboration across teams and occasional travel. As a member of the Aero Design team, you will design race car aerodynamic surfaces, wind tunnel model parts, and assemblies. Taking on increased responsibility for project leadership and technical expertise, your role involves contributing to the design process and ensuring the successful execution of development projects.
Integral member of the Aero Design team, contributing to the design of aero surfaces and wind tunnel model components.
This role will be working closely with the wider Aero team – including aerodynamicists, CFD, model makers, production team, Wind Tunnel technician, R&D team, and vehicle engineering team.
This role is factory based but may involve occasional travel.
This role is predominantly carried out during standard working hours but sometimes includes additional hours and weekends.

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking. Our state‑of‑the‑art, sustainable campus offers many facilities including a gym, restaurant and indoor and outdoor break‑out areas, as well as direct access to park and common land.
