Job summary

Audi Revolut F1 Team is seeking an experienced Aero Software Developer to join our high-performance, UK-based team. You will develop software for aerodynamic analysis, design desktop and web applications to present CFD data, and contribute to backend services that process and serve CFD information.

You will collaborate with aerodynamic engineers, implement efficient post-processing workflows, and advance data visualization and UI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• At least 3 years professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with Linux environment.
• Knowledge of PyQt and deployment to Windows/Linux.
• Strong knowledge of Django, VTK/ParaView/PyVista.
• Familiarity with containerized deployment (Kubernetes).
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with scientific data visualization, especially 3D data.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create and improve software for aerodynamic analysis.
• Design desktop and web applications to present data from CFD sources.
• Contribute to backend redesign and CFD data serving.
• Create efficient workflows for CFD post-processing.
• Collaborate with aerodynamic engineers to clarify complex data.
• Contribute to data analysis and visualization direction.
• Improve UI appearance and interactivity of CFD data.
• Develop data access tools and APIs for other systems.
• Design, code, test, release and maintain data analysis applications.
• Stay updated with advancements in software design and data science.
• Optimize backend processing and serving of CFD data.
• Improve look and feel of the UI for CFD data.
