Independent Advocacy Perth & Kinross in Scotland is seeking an innovative Citizen Advocacy Co-ordinator to support our Volunteer Citizen Advocates with supervision, training and ongoing development. The role emphasises safe, independent and person-centred advocacy and aims to improve rights and social inclusion for older adults.

This fixed-term contract, funded by a pilot from the Scottish Government, offers a collaborative environment, ongoing professional development and generous annual leave.

Responsibilities

• Support Volunteer Citizen Advocates with ongoing supervision and training.
• Coordinate advocacy partnerships and ensure safe, independent and person-centred advocacy.
• Match advocates with partners in Perth city area aged over 65.
• Provide training opportunities and gather feedback.
