Job summary

Moody's in London seeks an Advisory Services Associate to lead end-to-end lending software implementations for financial institutions across Europe and Africa. You will install, configure, map data, test, and train clients, while gathering requirements through workshops and advising on optimal product designs.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of financial software implementation experience in banks, vendors, or consultancies.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments in banking or insurance.
  • Technical capability in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and .NET with hands-on skills.
  • Experience with C# and R; exposure to IIS, Web API and MVC is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects for commercial lending software solutions.
  • Install, configure, map data, test, and train clients on software.
  • Conduct gap analysis and gather business requirements via workshops.
  • Advise clients on product design and configuration for lending processes.
  • Manage timelines, resources, hours and risks; track progress.
  • Collaborate with Product Management on enhancements and defects.
  • Support partners in delivery under the Partner Delivery Framework.
  • Deliver SaaS Premium Services with configuration and integration guidance.
  • Provide enhanced support with priority incident handling, including occasional weekend work.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven track record of 8+ years experience in financial software implementations within banks, software vendors, consulting firms or system integrators
  • Strong functional understanding of financial instruments within the banking or insurance industries
  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and .Net with strong hands‑on technical capability
  • Experience with programming languages such as C# and R, with additional exposure to IIS, Web API and MVC considered desirable
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements through client workshops and gap analysis
  • Strong customer engagement skills with the ability to build relationships and provide clear, consultative recommendations
  • Excellent collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams including Delivery, Product Management and Technology
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands‑on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI‑powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, banking, computer science or a related field required
  • Graduate degree such as a Master’s or MBA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver end‑to‑end implementation projects for commercial lending software solutions, ensuring successful client outcomes and high‑quality service delivery
  • Lead implementation projects including software installation, configuration, data mapping, testing and client training
  • Conduct gap analysis and gather business requirements through consultative client workshops
  • Advise clients on optimal product design and configuration to meet business and lending process needs
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, resources, project hours and risks using appropriate tracking tools
  • Collaborate with Product Management teams on enhancement requests, defects and product improvements
  • Support partners in project delivery under the Partner Delivery Framework, including effort estimation and technical guidance
  • Deliver SaaS Premium Services through configuration support, integration guidance and minor enhancements
  • Provide enhanced error support by managing priority incidents in a follow‑the‑sun model, including occasional weekend support
