Our client, a well‑established accountancy firm in Central London, would like to recruit a Tax Senior. This role focuses primarily on personal tax and private client work where you will be responsible for preparing self‑assessment tax returns and providing tax advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships.
  • Experience advising a range of clients (AIM‑listed, PE‑backed, family‑owned, and OMBs).
  • Creative and pragmatic problem‑solve.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Manage and deliver technically complex tax consulting projects with a practical, business‑focused approach.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor junior team members.
  • Contribute to people initiatives, including team development, training, and retention.
  • Prepare self‑assessment tax returns.
  • Provide tax advice to clients.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Client‑focused with strong strategic and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent tax technical knowledge.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Confident negotiator with the ability to sustain and articulate opinions effectively.
  • Proven business development capability – identifying and converting opportunities.
  • Effective time and project management skills; able to meet deadlines and monitor budgets.

  • Experience advising a range of clients (AIM‑listed, PE‑backed, family‑owned, and OMBs).
  • Ideally, ACA / CTA / Tax Inspectors qualification (with full technical training), Law qualification, or equivalent tax specialist qualification.
  • Strong tax technical and business development skills.
  • Experience coaching and developing junior staff.
