Job summary

M&G plc is seeking a Proposition Technical Manager (External) to support adviser-facing propositions with expert technical content on pensions, tax and financial planning. You will translate complex guidance into actionable materials for advisers and paraplanners, shaping response to regulatory change.

You will collaborate with Distribution, Marketing and Proposition teams, delivering thought leadership and technical training while liaising with industry bodies.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in life and pension products, including pensions, ISAs, trusts, annuities and investment propositions.
• Deep understanding of tax legislation and financial planning regulation.
• Experience applying technical knowledge to proposition development and distribution activities.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical expert on pensions, tax and financial planning matters.
• Identify regulatory changes and shape proposition strategy and adviser outcomes.
• Create and deliver high-quality technical content, tools, training and events for advisers.
• Provide technical consultancy across proposition development, marketing and business projects.
• Build M&G's reputation through thought leadership and industry engagement.
