Job summary

An established accounting firm in Bangor is seeking an Advertising / Marketing Assistant. This role offers practical experience in social media marketing, content creation, and digital strategies. The successful candidate will develop social media content, design promotional materials, and analyze marketing campaigns. With flexible working hours up to 25 per week, this temporary position is ideal for individuals eager to grow their skills in a close-knit team environment. A minimum of GCSE Mathematics and English is required.

Our services include accounting, book-keeping, payroll services, VAT, tax returns and financial planning. We use our extensive knowledge to provide quality solutions tailored to meet the needs of our clients and has ensured our strong reputation for delivering high quality advisory and consultancy work. As a result of our continued growth and in conjunction with Job Start, we now wish to recruit for an Advertising / Marketing Assistant to support the team and the Managing Director. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in social media marketing, develop your skills in content creation and management, and learn about digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop social media content for channels such as Facebook and TikTok.
  • Develop and send promotional email campaigns.
  • Post relevant content for our target markets.
  • Design eye catching graphics, infographics and visual content for social media, website and other marketing channels.
  • Develop marketing literature.
  • Track, analyse and report on marketing campaign performance using various analytics tools.

Further Information

Working Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours may be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours may be offered depending on availability – this should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
