Job summary

Kids Adventure Playgrounds in London is seeking enthusiastic Sessional Play Workers to support sessions on Saturdays and during school holidays. You will help children and young people aged 6-24 engage in adventurous and imaginative play, with a focus on safety and inclusion.

Responsibilities include supervising play, supporting personal care when needed, and building positive relationships with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people to take part in adventurous, creative and imaginative play.
• Provide inclusive play opportunities tailored to individual needs, interests and preferences.
• Get involved in structured and free-play activities indoors and outdoors.
• Support personal care needs with sensitivity and respect.
• Supervise children during play, outings and transportation, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Help create an inclusive environment where differences are recognised and valued.
• Provide written and verbal feedback and complete essential paperwork.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain playground facilities and equipment safety.
• Take part in training and work with colleagues for a consistent service.
