Job summary

Unity College in Burnley is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support individuals and groups of students to enable access to learning and to contribute to a purposeful, nurturing learning environment. The successful candidate will likely have experience working with young people and be able to model the highest standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
• Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
• NVQ Level 3 or above qualification (or equivalent)
• Level 2 or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics
• Experience of administrative work

Responsibilities

• Support individuals and groups of students to enable access to learning.
