Job description

As an Advanced Systems Engineer, you'll be at the heart of shaping the architecture and integration of our eVTOL aircraft. Reporting to the Senior Aircraft Systems Manager, you'll work across multiple teams to define and deliver the systems that power the next generation of urban air mobility. This is a hands‑on, collaborative role where you'll work closely with systems, configuration, certification, and test teams to take concepts from idea to reality.

Responsibilities
  • Lead integration tasks with the configuration team to ensure cohesive system functionality
  • Capture, break down, and trace requirements – including regulatory ones – to ensure full system coverage
  • Plan and execute verification and validation activities, confirming systems meet design intent
  • Present compliance evidence to support regulatory certification
  • Conduct integration testing to validate performance and functionality
  • Design system architectures that balance performance, complexity, and cost
  • Build integrated models that guide the system development process
  • Contribute to internal and external projects that drive future system innovations
Qualifications
  • A degree in engineering or a related field
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft systems, including conventional and unmanned platforms
  • Hands‑on experience with aircraft systems integration
  • Familiarity with requirements tools like DOORS, Jama, or Polarion
  • A solid understanding of systems engineering principles, including ARP4754B
  • Knowledge of aerospace certification standards, especially SC VTOL
  • Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering tools such as System Composer or Enterprise Architect
  • Background in high‑level aircraft or aircraft systems design
  • Experience with aerospace certification and system testing
