Job summary

A local council in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking experienced and visionary Senior Social Workers for their Duty and Assessment Teams. We are seeking experienced and visionary Senior Children and Families Social Workers to join our Duty and Assessment Teams.

💼 Rate is inclusive of HPIL

🎓 ASYE + at least 3 years' experience plus additional supervisory / practice development responsibilities, including contributing to the learning of others.

You will be part of four dynamic Duty and Assessment teams, delivering a high-quality assessment service to children and their families through:

• Completing Child and Family Assessments
• Co-producing Initial Child in Need and Child Protection Plans with families and partner agencies

🤝 Our Duty and Assessment Service has excellent partnership relationships that continue to grow. You will work closely with our Supporting Families Service and a wide range of community-based services and agencies in the city.

Using a restorative approach, you will work collaboratively with families, partners, and colleagues in the Long-Term teams to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to:

• Safeguarding
• Assessment
• Planning
• Implementation
