24-7 Recruitment Services is seeking an Advanced Recycling Operative in Louth, Lincolnshire. The role focuses on operating the infeed grinder and pelletisation machines within a PE recycling process, contributing to the circular economy.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in a factory setting and a practical mechanical mindset. You will work continental shifts (2x12 hour days followed by 2x12 hour nights) with 4 days off, and a weekly pay cycle.

The Job

An exciting new position has opened for an Advanced Recycling Operative to join a unique waste management process advancing the circular economy for plastics. Based in a department that has received significant investment to revolutionise the PE recycling industry, the main focus of this role is the operation of the infeed grinder and pelletisation machines.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Machine Operation: Primary operation of the infeed grinder and pelletisation machines.

• Process Management: Ensure compliance, optimisation, and accurate recording of all inputs and outputs across the grinding and pelletisation processes.

• Quality and Compliance: Maintain strict product compliance traceability to auditable standards at all times.

Shift Pattern

• Continental Shifts: 2 x 12 hour days, followed by 2 x 12 hour nights, with 4 days off.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a factory environment.

• Practical Skills: A practical mindset backed by basic mechanical knowledge.
