Refresco Pontefract is hiring an Advanced Production Team Operative for the Syrup Room. Join a fast-paced, supportive team at the UK’s largest Refresco site and contribute to high-quality beverage production.

Salary £34,076.49 incl. shift allowance; 42-hour contracts with a 3 on/3 off days and nights; permanent role with opportunities for growth and development within a global beverages company.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and fault-find/adjust as needed.

• Work with the team to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost KPIs.
• Participate in traceability, trials and site audits.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

About the Role –

P3 Advanced Production Team Operative - Syrup Room

Salary - £34,076.49 inclusive of shift allowance

42 hours - Shift pattern of 3 on 3 off days and nights

As an Advanced Production Team Operative you will be part of a supportive team, working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around, and show you the ropes.

Your main tasks and duties will be –

Performing all duties within the Production Department within the Factory to ensure the effective running of the process function and/or production lines and associated systems/equipment and being audit ready at all times.

• Operating equipment/machinery and undertaking fault finding, changeovers including CIP where relevant, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities.
• Management of Raw Materials.
• Accurately completing all monitoring systems required by the Company in accordance with Company Policies, Procedures and Standards.
• Reporting any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and supporting corrective action activities.
• Working as a key member of a production team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
• Supporting the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards.
• Participating in traceability exercises, product trials, and site audits/visits.
• Pro-actively identifying areas for continuous improvement within the production work environment/equipment/systems and participation in short interval control and root cause analysis assessments.

About you –

• Competency in Health & Safety Procedures.
• Competent at completing area/machine/equipment safety checks, immediately reporting any non-conformances, accidents, near misses or food safety concerns to supervisors and suggest corrective actions.
• Competent at completing quality checks and documentation.
• Compliant with GMP and good housekeeping.
• Completes effective handover with oncoming team member to provide an update on any safety, quality, people, delivery or cost issues arisen during working hours.
