Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking experienced Advanced Practitioners to work in GP surgeries across Liverpool. You will assess and manage a variety of conditions, supported by a multidisciplinary team. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care. Ideal candidates will have an Advanced Clinical Practice qualification and independent prescribing capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse or Paramedic with Advanced Clinical Practice qualification.
  • Independent Prescriber (V300) is essential.
  • Experience in primary or urgent care is required.

Job description

Location: Liverpool and surrounding areas
Hours: 08:00-18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Salary/Rate: £43Ltd

We are seeking experienced and motivated Advanced Practitioners (ANPs & ACPs) for work within GP surgeries across the Liverpool area. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to work in supportive primary care settings, providing high-quality care to patients while enjoying flexibility and professional autonomy.

About the Role

As an ANP working within GP practices, you will assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. You will work independently, supported by GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team, and contribute to delivering high standards of patient care in line with best clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, examination, and diagnosis
  • Initiate treatment plans and prescribe medications where appropriate (V300 essential)
  • Manage patients with long‑term conditions and acute presentations
  • Support health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education
  • Work collaboratively within a team of clinicians to ensure safe, effective care delivery
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Paramedic (NMC/HCPC) with Advanced Clinical Practice qualification (MSc or equivalent)
  • Independent Prescriber (V300)
  • Experience working in primary care or urgent care settings
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
