Overview

Advanced Practitioner - South Yorkshire. Advanced Practitioner role at a highly regarded, RCVS accredited 24-hour small animal hospital. State-of-the-art equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, a full-body CT scanner, and an in-house laboratory. Superb salary up to £102,000. Relocation package available. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practitioner to join a highly successful and well-regarded small animal hospital in South Yorkshire. Our client is an RCVS-accredited, 24-hour hospital supported by a newly appointed Practice Manager, Head RVN, and a dedicated clinical Nursing team. This purpose-built facility features state-of-the-art equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, a full-body CT scanner, and an in-house laboratory, alongside 3 large consulting rooms, 2 theatres, a spacious prep area, and extensive learning and office spaces.

Responsibilities

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the veterinary team, ensuring the highest standards of medical care for each patient. Your leadership abilities, clinical expertise, and commitment to animal welfare will be essential in fostering the practice's ongoing success and enhancing your own professional growth alongside your team.

Qualifications
  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • CertAVP in Surgery
  • Proficiency in TPLO/TTAs or equivalent, spinal surgery, fracture repair, and complex soft tissue procedures (e.g., perineal urethrostomy, TECA, BOAS, thoracotomy)
  • Strong dedication to patient and client care, teamwork, and clinical leadership
Rota
  • Full time role – 4 day week
  • 1:6 weekend rota
