Advanced Practitioner (Social Work) – Child Protection/Safeguarding Team in Northumberland UK, earning £28.82 hourly for 3 months full-time. As an Advanced Practitioner, your work will focus on children’s safeguarding, requiring exemplary practice in complex situations. What you will do:

• Take on a workload that requires high-level practice in complex safeguarding situations, exercising a degree of autonomy
• Provide direct supervision to staff as directed by the Team Manager, acting as a mentor to junior team members
• Work within relevant current legislation and the procedural framework of Northumberland County Council
• Collaborate with service users and their families to assess needs, plan, and deliver services aligned with the social work locality team’s service area
• Supervise student placements and act as a Practice Educator, fostering the next generation of social workers
• If necessary, chair meetings under the Signs of Safety framework, such as CIN Reviews and Initial Core Groups
