Advanced Practice Provider

At Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine we are looking for a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our team.

Overview

In this role you will play a crucial role in delivering acute and episodic care to a diverse patient population in an Urgent Care setting. We are seeking individuals who are eager to work together to improve health outcomes and contribute to the betterment of the communities we serve. Responsibilities
  • Provides medical evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to patients.
  • Responds to emergencies and answers medical questions.
  • Obtains and documents appropriate chief complaints, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examination, medications, allergies, assessment, and plan for each patient.
  • Provides medical orders for prescription refills, administration of medications, ancillary testing, and/or referrals.
  • Performs routine medical procedures that may include suturing/laceration repair, splinting, foreign object removal, etc.
  • Provides referrals to medical specialists.
  • Reviews ancillary test results and coordinates notification to patients.
  • Provides patient education as needed.
  • Maintains availability to patients personally or through clinical staff to answer questions and relay information regarding their care.
  • Completes appropriate paperwork to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.
  • Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manages personal clinical inbox.
  • Attends provider meetings as requested.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.
  • State of Colorado Medical License.
  • DEA certificate.
  • BLS/CPR certificate.
  • ACLS/PALS certification.
  • DOT Medical Examiners certification.
  • State of Colorado Level I Work Comp Accreditation.

  • Monthly wRVU Production Bonus Opportunities: Earn additional compensation each month based on the wRVUs you generate based on patient volume, complexity of care, etc.
  • Flexible Work Schedule: Enjoy the flexibility of working just 42 shifts per quarter with limited weekend requirements.
  • Minimal On‑Call Requirements: You are only required to sign‑up for three (3) on‑call shifts per quarter. Optional on‑call opportunities are available for those interested in earning additional pay.
  • Paid Holidays: Paid time-and-a-half for working New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
  • Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas: We are also proud to be closed on these two holidays, allowing you to fully enjoy these special times with your friends and family.
