Job summary

Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking an experienced neurological physiotherapist to deliver advanced care for adults with complex conditions. The role combines direct patient care, service development, education and clinical leadership in outpatient and home settings.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to specialist neuro clinics and mentor junior staff while supporting Trust-wide audit and service improvement initiatives.

You will work with adults with a wide range of complex neurological conditions, using advanced clinical reasoning to deliver person-centred care and supporting patients to maximise their independence. The role combines direct patient care with service development, education and clinical leadership, making it an ideal opportunity for a dynamic and compassionate practitioner.,

• Provide advanced neurological physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management for adults in outpatient clinics and through home visits.
• Exercise professional autonomy in managing a complex caseload, applying advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
• Contribute to specialist neuro clinics, offering expert input into diagnosis, prognosis and treatment planning.
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, families and carers to ensure integrated care.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision and mentorship to junior staff, support workers and students.
• Support audit, research and service development initiatives to maintain and enhance high standards of patient care.
• Demonstrate and role-model the Trust values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence in all aspects of practice.
