HCA UK The Shard Outpatients in Central London is recruiting an Advanced Physiotherapist with oncology experience to join the Therapies team. You will manage a specialised oncology caseload with high autonomy, provide assessment and rehabilitation, and contribute to teaching and service development.

You will support junior staff, mentor students, and help grow the oncology physiotherapy service within a leading private cancer centre offering advanced facilities and multidisciplinary care.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physiotherapy (HCPC registered).
  • Postgraduate training in oncology is required.
  • Demonstrable specialist oncology outpatient experience and ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff and contributing to teaching or service development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a specialised oncology outpatient caseload with assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation.
  • Deliver expert oncology physiotherapy within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Support and mentor junior staff and students.
  • Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.

As one of the UK’s most advanced private cancer centres, Private Care at Guy’s brings together state‑of‑the‑art facilities, internationally recognised consultants and multidisciplinary team known for clinical excellence and compassion. Our centre includes dedicated chemotherapy and radiotherapy services, modern theatres, oncology and surgical wards, and a four‑bed intensive care unit supporting complex patient pathways.Working within a team of 11 therapists at The Shard, you will be one of two Oncology Physiotherapists managing a specialised oncology caseload, delivering expert assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation to patients with complex needs.
