Job description

As a Non-Medical Prescriber you will work jointly with Microbiologists and Antimicrobial Pharmacy Team while maintaining a clinical pharmacy service to a specialist area.

Responsibilities

• Work jointly with the Microbiologists and Antimicrobial Pharmacy Team, providing expert advice on safe and effective antibiotic utilisation.
• Act as a role model for clinical pharmacy practice.
• Provide training to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff in antibiotic use.
• Prescribe as appropriate for patients within the job holder's level of competence.
