An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic pharmacist to join the anticoagulation and thrombosis MDT team. The position will provide a crucial role both in supporting inpatient work streams and optimising anticoagulation in primary care. You will work closely alongside consultants and specialist nurses to deliver care to patients with bleeding and thrombotic disorders. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a highly specialised area and obtain new transferrable skills. There is the potential to drive digital change through our advanced links with the digital team. VTE prevention is one of the hospital’s current quality priorities. As part of this group you will be involved in delivering change and improvement to patient care. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
Please note this is 12-month fixed term position to cover maternity leave of the current post holder.
This post includes split duties between the local Anticoagulation Optimisation Support Service (AOSS) to primary care and the clinical anticoagulation role within Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
