Job summary

A leading healthcare staffing provider is seeking experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners for the Urgent Treatment Unit at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. Candidates should possess an Advanced Clinical Practice qualification and have experience in urgent care. Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) – Urgent Treatment Unit, Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, for experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) to work within the Urgent Treatment Unit (UTU) based at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, clinician-led organisation providing high-quality urgent and primary care services across Nottinghamshire. The role offers competitive rates of pay and the engagement falls outside IR35, allowing Ltd Company arrangements.

About the Role

As an ANP working within the Urgent Treatment Unit, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a range of minor illnesses and injuries. You’ll work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, providing safe and effective care in a busy and supportive environment.

Key Details
  • Location: Urgent Treatment Unit, Queen’s Medical Centre, Derby Road, Nottingham, NG7 2UH
  • Hours: A range of shifts available, including daytime, evening, and weekend sessions
  • Engagement: Outside IR35 – Ltd Company or PAYE options available
  • Pay: Competitive hourly rates
Essential Criteria
  • Registered Nurse (NMC) with Advanced Clinical Practice qualification (MSc or equivalent)
  • Minor Illness and Minor Injury competencies (minimum Level 6)
  • Independent Prescriber (V300) desirable but not essential
  • Experience working in urgent care, A&E, or primary care settings
  • Confident in autonomous assessment, diagnosis, and management
  • Knowledge of Adastra clinical system desirable
