Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner for flexible regional primary care sessions across Huyton. You will deliver advanced assessments and support routine demand within GP and community services, with full autonomy over your clinical practice.

Role includes autonomous clinics, triage, and safe prescribing across a variety of primary care settings, in lines with DBS clearance and established workflows.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) is required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings preferred.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills essential.
• Ability to work autonomously in new environments with DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face triage.

Key Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems
