Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver flexible regional primary care sessions across Corbridge, with autonomy in clinical practice within established GP and community clinics.

You will perform advanced assessments, triage and manage urgent and routine presentations, with robust digital record keeping and patient safety in mind. This locum role offers ad-hoc or regular bookings and weekday, evening or weekend sessions.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification required.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings.

Responsabilités

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions

This role offers structured sessions within established primary care clinics, giving you full autonomy over your clinical practice while maintaining consistency in your working environment.

You will deliver advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations and support routine patient demand within well-supported GP and community services. Each clinic provides clear pathways, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions

Requirements

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification
• Independent Prescribing (V300)
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills
• Confidence working autonomously in new environments
• Enhanced DBS clearance
