Job summary

Locum Ready in New Galloway is seeking Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners to deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics across community and primary care settings. Take flexible sessions with daytime, evening and weekend shifts, supporting GP surgeries, urgent care, and extended hours hubs while maintaining clinical autonomy and consistent service delivery.

You will work across GP surgeries, urgent care providers and community health settings, with opportunities for regular weekly slots or ad-hoc cover,

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 7 ANP qualification.
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Experience in community or primary care settings.
• Ability to work autonomously in different environments.
• Good familiarity with digital clinical systems.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running independent ANP clinics in community and primary care services
• Managing acute presentations and minor illness cases
• Telephone and on-site triage for urgent patient demand
• Prescribing and clinical decision-making within scope
