As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care through face-to-face, telephone and online consultations, supported by our experienced clinical and administrative teams. You will use EMIS Web to manage patient care, prescribe independently within your scope of practice, review investigations, make appropriate referrals and contribute to the ongoing development of the practice.

In return, we offer a competitive salary, protected CPD, a supportive working environment, free onsite parking and excellent public transport links. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a welcoming practice that values teamwork, professional development and high standards of patient care.

  • Work autonomously to assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses, minor injuries and long-term conditions within the ANP's scope of practice.
  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, including history taking, physical examination and clinical decision-making.
  • Prescribe medications safely and effectively as an Independent Prescriber, in accordance with local and national guidance.
  • Manage urgent and same-day patient presentations, identifying red flags and escalating or referring patients where clinically indicated.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment and management plans.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using EMIS Web.
  • Undertake appropriate referrals to secondary care, community services and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide health promotion, disease prevention and patient education to support self-management.
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in meetings, audit, quality improvement and significant event reviews.
