Job description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our friendly and patient-focused GP practice. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, accessible primary care.

We are a cohesive and supportive partnership of 4 GPs with an established and experienced team serving a semi-rural population of 7,500 patients. We believe that we have the best practice team in the area! Most of our team have worked here many years and as a result we have a stable and committed workforce. In general, our patients appreciate the surgery and respect our staff.

Being part of the St Ives Primary Care Network allows us to benefit from having our own social prescribing link worker, care-coordinator, physiotherapist and pharmacist support.

The Moat House Team consistently work hard to achieve high performance within QOF and the NHSE Patient Survey.

As a GP Training Practice we are proud to be helping train the next generation of doctors.

We use SystmOne as it is used widely across the NHS which helps to support better communication and coordinated patient care.

Our well managed and profitable dispensary serve a third of our patient population.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting independent clinical assessments and examinations
  • Diagnosing and managing acute and long-term conditions
  • Developing and reviewing patient care plans
  • Prescribing and advising on appropriate treatments (where qualified)
  • Providing health promotion and preventative care advice
  • Working closely with GPs, nurses, and wider healthcare professionals
About you:
  • Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical experience
  • Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team
  • Committed to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care
What we offer:
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment
  • Opportunities for professional development
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to patient care
