Job summary

Prospect Health are working with a client GP surgery in the Nottingham area to recruit an ANP/ACP for a part-time role (30 hours per week). The practice benefits from a stable team, excellent admin support and opportunities for clinical development and progression within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in primary care essential.
• Registered nurse with NMC and advanced clinical practice, or working toward non-medical prescriber.
• Must have minor injury and illness qualification.
• Level 7 MSc qualification preferred for ACP status.

Responsibilities

• Provide ANP/ACP clinical care in GP surgery.
• Support a patient list of ~10,000.
• Work within a stable team of GPs, nurses and pharmacists.
• Utilise Systm One practice system.

Job description

Prospect Health are working with one of our clients seeking an ANP/ACP to work in their GP surgery in the Nottingham area. They are seeking a part time ANP to work 30 hours per week.

The role is at a well established practice with a stable team of clinicians already in place including GP's, Pharmacists, Nurses and HCA's. The practice is well organised with an excellent admin support system in place offering a well balanced and sustainable work load. There is support for staff who wish to develop both clinically and into more senior roles within the organisation.

Key Duties

• Seeking an ANP/ACP
• Patient list size of circa 10,000
• Stable team of existing clinicians
• Clinical Support staff including Nurses, HCA's, Pharmacists
• Excellent admin management and support
• Support on offer to develop interest areas

• High QOF score and Good CQC

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Previous Primary Care experience essential
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice or working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
