Locum Ready is seeking a locum ANP to join a GP practice in North Shields. You will work independently within a supportive primary care team and manage a varied caseload, including same-day patient demand, to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes autonomous clinic work, chronic disease reviews, and timely decision-making, with clear administrative support and reliable session planning from the practice.

Qualifications

• ANP qualification with advanced clinical practice training.
• V300 Independent Prescribing (essential).
• Recent experience in primary care or urgent care settings.
• Confidence working autonomously in clinic.
• Understanding of clinical systems EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct same-day access clinics and triage.
• Manage undifferentiated presentations.
• Deliver chronic disease reviews where required.
• Independent prescribing and follow-ups.
• Review results and trigger clinical actions.
• Record consultations accurately and efficiently.
