Job summary

InHealth is recruiting an Advanced Practitioner in Mammography for The Jarvis Breast Centre, Guildford. The role involves performing screening mammograms to NHSBSP standards and rotating to mobile screening vans across Surrey. You will train and mentor radiographers, participate in QA, and work within a MDT with a focus on stereotactic procedures and biopsy support. A full UK driving licence is essential due to site travel; you may be required to commute up to 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required; travel to mobile screening sites.
• Experience in mammography interpretation and interventional procedures.
• Ability to work on a rota across multiple sites and MDTs.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring radiography staff.

Responsibilities

• Undertake screening mammograms to NHSBSP standards.
• Assist in teaching and mentoring PG Radiographers and associate practitioners.
• Participate in the departmental Quality Assurance Programme.
• Provide advanced practice in stereotactic interventional breast imaging and reporting.
• Support MDT meetings and preparation of results.
• Double report breast screening mammograms as required.
