Qualifications

  • Supervisory / Team lead experience within a maintenance environment.
  • Experience within the Plastics / Food / Packaging / Warehouse industry in an Electrical Maintenance position.
  • Experience of medium and low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with contractors and arrange site visits to ensure work meets expected standard.
  • Carry out maintenance on equipment during non-planned and planned schedules.
  • Analyse breakdowns to determine root cause and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Undertake improvement projects to optimise efficiency.

Advanced Maintenance Engineer - Rugby!

Salary: £45,000 - £47,000

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Role & Responsibilities
  • Liaise with contractors and arrange site visits to ensure work meets expected standard.
  • Carry out maintenance on equipment during non‑planned and planned maintenance schedules in a timely manner.
  • Analyse breakdowns to determine root cause and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Undertake improvement, extension or modification projects to optimise efficiency, reliability and safety.
  • Maintain all equipment across the site including conveyors, pumps, cranes, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
  • Work at height and be part of the rescue at height team (full training and PPE will be provided).
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • NVQ3 / HNC in Electrical Maintenance or relevant degree.
  • Supervisory / Team lead experience within a maintenance environment.
  • Experience within the Plastics / Food / Packaging / Warehouse industry in an Electrical Maintenance position.
  • PLC fault finding – Siemens.
  • Experience of medium and low voltage systems.
  • Experience of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of variable speed drives (AC and DC), picking cranes, conveyor systems, instrumentation, and pneumatics.
