Job summary

Pearson in the UK is hiring a Learning Subject Matter Expert to join the Assessment & Qualifications team. You will work within the NCA Marking Workstream context, delivering high‑quality learning materials and marking support for Key Stage 2 assessments and related projects.

The role is hybrid, offering home working with office days and occasional travel when needed. You will collaborate with managers, specialists and education experts to ensure timely, accurate and budget‑conscious delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in assessment or education sector desirable.
• Strong communication and planning skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training material development and marking to time, quality and budget.
• Provide assessment material development and marking support for Key Stage 2.
• Collaborate with the Specialist, Assessment and Manager, Assessment to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with SoR, product descriptions and requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
