Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for an Advanced IBD Fellowship. The post offers extensive clinical exposure in inflammatory bowel disease, including outpatients, endoscopy, MDT involvement, and opportunities to lead service development projects and research.

Candidates should have completed gastroenterology training or be in the final years of specialist training, with supervision from senior IBD consultants and access to the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research

Qualificações

• Completed gastroenterology training or in final years of specialist training.

Responsabilidades

• Gain advanced clinical and endoscopic experience in IBD within a centre treating thousands of patients.
• Participate in outpatient clinics (new and follow-up IBD), MDT meetings and weekly acute IBD clinics.
• Undertake endoscopy sessions (upper and lower) focusing on disease assessment and therapeutic interventions.
• Contribute to NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre IBD projects and research meetings.
• Support development of digital health pathways and ultrasound services as part of service improvement.
• Engage with a broad IBD research portfolio including investigator-led and academic studies.
