Job summary

Locums First in Llanidloes is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to deliver autonomous ACP-led care across primary care and community services, with flexible sessions across day, evening, and weekend.

You will run independent ACP clinics, manage acute presentations, support urgent care through triage, and prescribe where qualified. DBS check is required, and experience in primary care or urgent care is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) desirable.
• DBS check enhanced.

Job description

Locums First is looking for Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Llanidloes. This opportunity offers access to a broad mix of primary care and community-based clinical shifts, giving you full flexibility to choose the sessions that best suit your skills and preferred working pattern.

You will deliver autonomous ACP-led care within a variety of local services, supporting patient access through urgent clinics, minor illness sessions, routine assessments or triage work. Each shift is structured to ensure safe practice, with clear expectations and strong support from on-site clinical leads.

Requirements

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300/equivalent) desirable
• Experience in primary care, community or urgent care services
• Confident working autonomously in new clinical settings
• Enhanced DBS
