Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners to deliver autonomous ACP-led care in Burgess Hill, with a flexible mix of primary care and community shifts. You’ll run independent ACP clinics, manage acute presentations and support urgent care demand through triage and streaming.

Willingness to work in new clinical settings is essential, with DBS clearance preferred; V300 prescribing is desirable. Flexible local shifts including daytime, evenings, and weekends are available.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification is required.
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar is essential.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300/equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in primary care, community or urgent care services is required.
• Candidate should be able to work autonomously in new clinical settings.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is preferred.

Locum Ready is looking for Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Burgess Hill. This opportunity offers access to a broad mix of primary care and community-based clinical shifts, giving you full flexibility to choose the sessions that best suit your skills and preferred working pattern.

You will deliver autonomous ACP-led care within a variety of local services, supporting patient access through urgent clinics, minor illness sessions, routine assessments or triage work. Each shift is structured to ensure safe practice, with clear expectations and strong support from on-site clinical leads.
