Advanced Clinical Practitioner/Paramedic - Acute Visiting Service

St James Surgery in Clacton is looking to recruit an advanced clinical practitioner/paramedic to join our multi-disciplinary team, strengthening our acute visiting service.

The post holder must be a non-medical prescriber and capable of managing a wide range of acute presentations seen in primary care. Youwill have developed the skills and knowledge to allow you to take on an expanded role and scope of practice caring for patients.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide a high quality visiting service for patients requiring same day clinical assessment within the community
  • Prevent unnecessary hospital admissions
  • Support frail and vulnerable patients
  • Deliver timely autonomous clinical decision making

We are a large, friendly, hardworking surgery with our main surgery located in Clacton and a branch in St Osyth. We are anEMIS Web practice with a patient list size of 15,200 patients.
