A prominent healthcare facility in London is seeking an exceptional Lead Nurse / Advanced Clinical Practitioner. This role encompasses providing operational leadership for the HIV nursing team while also delivering advanced clinical care. The ideal candidate must be a registered nurse with extensive experience in sexual health and HIV. We are looking for an exceptional nurse to appoint to this key leadership post within our HIV and Integrated Sexual Health service based at St Mary’s hospital in central London.
The successful candidate for this Lead Nurse / Advanced Clinical Practitioner role will provide operational leadership and direction for the HIV nursing team comprising of nurse practitioners, specialty nurses, staff nurses, nursing associates and healthcare assistants.
Our ideal candidate will have extensive relevant experience within the field, advanced clinical skills and knowledge, especially in operational management, and HIV. The post holder will be expected to work clinically as well as proving operational leadership to the team.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will be a skilled communicator with a passion for education and staff development. You will place a high priority on maintaining a supportive and caring environment for both patients and staff, and on developing the highest standards of evidence based practice and achieving key quality metrics.
You will be fully supported in your role by the department’s consultant nurses and wider leadership teams.
