Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide clinical leadership and lead advanced assessment and care planning for adults with complex physical and mental health needs. The role combines clinical practice with teaching, audit, leadership and research, requiring current NMC registration and a postgraduate qualification in advanced practice.

Qualifications

Significant, recent clinical experience in mental health assessment at Band 7 or above.
Current NMC registration is required.
Postgraduate qualification in advanced practice or equivalent would be advantageous.
Teaching or mentorship experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and operational leadership for a defined service or department.
Lead delivery of evidence-based, safe and effective nursing care.
Prescribe, monitor and review medicines within governance requirements.
Lead service development, quality improvement, audit and research.
Provide specialist education and training to colleagues and learners.
