Job summary

University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is recruiting an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide expert autonomous clinical practice and to lead the redesign of continence and catheter services across outpatient, community and interface settings.

The role focuses on bladder dysfunction pathways, patient education, and aligning with national guidance and NHS Long Term Plan priorities. Flexible working patterns and opportunities for secondment may be available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct autonomous assessments and develop care plans for continence patients.
• Lead development of protocols and guidelines across services.
• Coordinate referral pathways between acute, community and primary care.
• Deliver education and supervision to junior staff and learners.
• Lead independent continence clinics and manage complex catheter care.
