Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to deliver ACP-led sessions across community and primary care environments in Orsett and surrounding areas. You will assess and manage urgent cases, provide triage support, and prescribe within your scope of competence while documenting thoroughly.

The role offers fully flexible sessional shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends, with opportunities to work ad-hoc or ongoing sessions according to your schedule.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner with Level 7 qualification.
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science or allied health professions.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) is desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services.
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Support urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Manage clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks.

Locum Ready is looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Orsett. This opportunity offers flexible sessional work within community-focused clinics, ideal for ACPs experienced in autonomous clinical assessment and supporting urgent patient demand.

You will work as part of established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support across a range of structured service environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings

• Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage

Requirements
