Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Hingham/Norwich. The role offers fully flexible, sessional work within community clinics, suitable for ACPs with autonomous clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond to urgent patient demand.

You will work within established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support across varied service environments.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) required/essential.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health settings.
• Independent prescribing (V300) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ACP-led sessions in community and primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Support urgent patient demand via telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Manage clinical actions including results, reviews and follow-ups.
• Record accurate digital documentation.

• Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage

• Managing clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks
• Recording accurate and clear digital documentation

Requirements

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments
• Enhanced DBS
