Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Ibrox. This role offers flexible sessional work in community clinics, ideal for ACPs with autonomous assessment experience and urgent patient demand support.

You will join established clinical teams providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care within structured service environments.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7).
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services.
• DBS clearance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Support urgent patient demand through triage (telephone or face-to-face).
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Manage clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-ups.
• Record accurate and clear digital documentation.
