Job summary

Locum Ready seeks an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide flexible sessional work across primary care and regional services in Lutterworth. The ACP will lead autonomous assessments, manage varied clinical presentations and support streamlined patient flow within local health services.

You will work in structured clinical environments with clear pathways, ensuring consistent support for advanced-level practice, triage, and appropriate documentation in digital systems.

Qualifications

• Level 7 ACP qualification required or equivalent.
• Independent Prescribing desirable or able to obtain.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or community health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run independent ACP-led clinics across care centre and GP service settings.
• Assess acute, undifferentiated and routine presentations.
• Provide telephone and on-site triage during periods of high demand.
• Prescribe and initiate treatment where qualified.
• Complete routine clinical actions including results, reviews and referrals.

• Documenting accurately in digital clinical systems

Requirements

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar
• Independent Prescribing desirable
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or community health
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS clearance
