Responsibilities
- Conduct remote clinical assessments via telephone or video consultation
- Diagnose, manage, and where appropriate, prescribe for patients presenting with urgent or unscheduled healthcare needs.
- Make safe, evidence-based clinical decisions and escalates where necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with GPs and other clinicians to ensure safe and seamless patient care.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
Technical Requirements
- Access to a secure private workspace suitable for confidential consultations.
- A Windows 10 or Windows 11 laptop (MacOS not supported).
- Reliable broadband internet connection.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join a remote GP Out of Hours (OOH) team supporting patients registered in the Telford area. Qualifications
- Registered with the NMC or HCPC.
- Hold a Postgraduate Diploma or MSc (or equivalent) in Advanced Clinical Practice.
- Independent Prescriber (V300) qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in primary care.
- Excellent communication and digital consultation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions remotely.
