Job Summary

Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) – Shakespeare Walk‑in Centre, Burmantofts, Leeds (LS9 7TA). Full‑time (40 h/week) or part‑time on a rota basis covering 7 days a week, 8 am‑8 pm. Permanent contract with salary £55,000–£65,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions, including prescribing where qualified.
  • Provide expert care for undifferentiated and complex cases, ensuring best outcomes.
  • Deliver face‑to‑face consultations, urgent primary care and onward referrals when needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patients are seen by the appropriate professional.
  • Use clinical expertise to support high‑quality, evidence‑based care.
Qualifications
  • First‑level Registered Nurse (NMC) registration.
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent level 7 ANP qualification.
  • Advanced Physical Assessment and Consultation Skills Level 7.
  • Minimum 1 year experience post‑level 7 qualification in urgent care, primary care or a hospital setting.
  • Majority of cases involve minor injuries and illnesses – experience required.
  • Paediatric Course Level 7 (or equivalent).
  • Non‑medical Prescribing Level 7 (or equivalent).
  • Ability to assess, treat and manage minor injuries and illnesses autonomously.
  • Ability to treat all ages, including infants and babies.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
