A local government authority in Staffordshire is seeking a qualified Social Worker to support vulnerable children and young people. The role offers opportunities for development, a supportive team dynamic, and the chance to make a significant impact on family wellbeing. Ideal candidates will have experience in Child Protection and Court Proceedings, along with a passion for promoting children's welfare. The position is based in the scenic Staffordshire Moorlands.

You will be based in the beautiful and scenic Staffordshire Moorlands, and in one of two Assessment and Staying Together Teams based in the Moorlands. We are a small but supportive and welcoming team who share excellent relationships with our district colleagues in Early Help, SEND, Education, Children with Disabilities and we are co located with our Children in Care and Care Leavers Team. We very much embed a restorative model and are committed to ensuring that every child is supported through a whole district approach.
You will be working with families across the continuum of need from Child In Need through to the conclusion of Care Proceedings and Adoption planning.
