A healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Breast Care Nursing Team in Scotland. This essential role includes providing support for breast cancer patients, coordinating care, and working within a multidisciplinary environment. With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.
An exciting, fixed team opportunity has arisen for an innovative individual to join the Breast Care Nursing Team within a well-established multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the nursing team who will provide professional specialist support for patients diagnosed and living with breast cancer across NHS Tayside.
The applicant will require excellent communication and decision‑making skills and be able to work autonomously, whilst providing support to existing team members. The applicant will be responsible for planning and co‑ordinating patient care.
The applicant will have acquired an expert knowledge base and clinical competencies in cancer care, to ensure safe, effective and sustainable nursing practice within this speciality, and must be flexible to meet the needs of this service.
You must be registered on Sub‑part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub‑part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
The post holder must have evidence of continuing professional development, be educated to degree level or above, and be willing to undertake further learning and education in the relative speciality.
