A pioneering aerospace company in the UK is seeking a Digital Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement digital manufacturing processes for battery and aircraft production. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in a similar role, a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, and strong skills in digital manufacturing systems. This role offers a supportive and innovative environment, with numerous benefits including a performance-based bonus and pension scheme.
At Vertical Aerospace, we are pioneering the way for electric aviation. The VX4, our eVTOL (electric, vertical, take-off and landing), ‘zero emissions’ aircraft will set a new safety standard for how we will navigate the sky.
We won’t realise our mission following the same legacy processes and traditions our predecessors followed, instead, we want to ‘redefine’ aerospace best practices.
We are growing quickly from a prototype business to a scaling SME, and the next few years will be critical to our success and delivering on our ambitious goals of having the VX4 in service by 2030.
As a Digital Manufacturing Engineer; you will play a key role in shaping our large-scale production plans for the VX4 aircraft. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing digital manufacturing processes to streamline efficiency and innovation.
You will be accountable for establishing and delivering cutting‑edge digital manufacturing workflows for both aircraft and battery manufacturing engineering, ensuring seamless integration and optimization across the function.

We may just be the hardest job you've ever had, but we're confident it will be the most rewarding. Join the team today and help us shape the future of Advanced Air Mobility.

As part of our desire to review and make our processes fair, we may ask you questions related to these aspects during the application process.
